LAKE HAVEN HOUSE

Escape to the cottage and live the good life on Lake Muskoka! A quick 5-minute drive to Bala and a 10-minute drive to Port Carling, guests will appreciate the convenience of nearby amenities accessible by car and boat in the summer. Nestled among the trees in this spectacular rugged landscape, this Muskoka Getaway has been beautifully curated with bespoke natural touches with an element of sophistication. Sweeping views of Lake Muskoka and southeast exposure generate all-day sun and beautiful sunrises! With multiple screened-in porch’s that surrounds the cottage with easy stair access to the water and a generous-sized dock. The cottage grounds also include a built-in area for bonfires, a hot tub with an amazing view of the lake, and a pool table for those looking for indoor games!

This haven by the lake is perfect for the whole family and more! With two great rooms, you will have plenty of space to play games, relax by the fire, and plenty of cozy spots to unwind. Each with its own wood-burning fireplace.

During the winter seasons, we are a 5-minute drive to the Muskoka Lakes Farm & winery (cranberry marsh). Where you can participate in snowshoeing, skating, wine tasting, and hiking trails.

INTERIOR

The home is very spacious and has a sleeping capacity of 12. As you enter the driveway you will be welcomed by enough space to park all of your cars. When you open the doors to lake haven house you will be welcomed by the Great Room, which contains a priceless view of Lake Muskoka through large windows. After you take in the lake, your eye is drawn to the warmth and elegance of the living room showcasing a vaulted ceiling and large stone fireplace. Other features of the Great Room include a large living area with oversized furniture, an elegant dining table with comfortable seating for 12, a built-in bar, and a large chef’s kitchen.

The kitchen has all the must-have appliances; stove/oven, side by side fridge and freezer, double sink, large preparation island with 5 bar stools, and a separate pantry off the kitchen housing a fridge/freezer, another sink, and laundry area.

BEDROOMS

On the upper-level floor, you will find 2 oversized bedrooms. The primary bedroom has a king bed, desk, seating area with a television. This bedroom overlooks the lake and has windows on three sides of the bedroom. Primary bathroom contains a 4-piece bathroom, including a jetted tub. This bedroom also holds an oversized walk-in closet.

The second oversized bedroom contains a king bed, seating area, yoga & workout space. You can cozy up in this bedroom with precious views of the lake and warm yourself in the jetted tub. The bathroom contains 4-piece, including jetted tub. There is also a walk-in closet for this bedroom.

There are two other bedrooms on the upper level, one with a king bed that can be made into two twin beds depending on your preference, and another bedroom that holds a queen bed. These rooms share a full bathroom with a shower, tub, and toilet. They all have lake-facing views.

Walk down the stairs to the lower level to a large Entertainment room with two sofas, large TV, pool table, and bar area.

On the lower level, there is one oversized bedroom with a king-sized bed and seating area and a bunk bedroom with a twin on the top and a queen on the bottom.
